REGISTRATION

Rehab Hotspot 2026 is FREE to attend and is open to all students and rehabilitation professionals seeking job opportunities. Registration is open through May 2nd, 2026.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Join us at Rehab Hotspot to connect with potential future employers, explore different career options, and network with professional organizations! This event is a great opportunity to practice your interviewing and networking skills. Companies from a variety of settings and specialties will be setting up booths in our Husky Union Building. Come prepared to talk to recruiters, managers, and current employees – dress professionally and bring your best networking self!

TIPS TO PREPARE

  1. Read up on employers and positions in advance, and identify the companies that interest you most.

  2. Create a well-prepared resume and submit it to rehabhotspotresumes@gmail.com to have it seen by potential vendors!

  3. Dress appropriately (business casual). 

  4. Arrive early to allow plenty of time to talk with prospective employers – the most popular ones may have a line!

  5. Prepare a short introduction for yourself to present your experience and express your interest.

  6. Ask questions!

  7. Collect business information and write down names so you can follow-up later. 

  8. Send thank you notes re-affirming your interest to the recruiters you met, and include a more targeted resume. 

  9. Complete online applications as requested by employers, following up as necessary.

  10. Whatever happens, thank them for the opportunity!
